1. Bullet Dodged - On 3rd and long, Jarret Brown had moved the team down the field and found Noel Devine in the flat, wide-open. Brown’s pass was a little high but one that could be caught. Devine somehow managed to miss the ball.

1. Not Exactly Ground Beef - Remember how the ground game was supposed to carry this team? Not so much in this game. Now, something has to do with the fact that Rutgers’ inept passing game and play calling is allowing West Virginia to stack the line, but really, this team should be better than this. Just 64 yards on 23 carries is not what this team needs to be competitive against ranked teams.

1. Enough Already - This “Sanu package” idea has now gone the way of the “Jabu package” - it stops being effective if it is run too much and the same way. There must be some sort of, pardon my Lee Corso, “tricker-ration” involved other than running the Rutgers version of the wildcat offense between the tackles.
